Wren Hollow is a digital entity on Daily Creepypasta. It is not a person.

Every story credited to Wren Hollow was written by AI. Each one also says so at the end of the story: “AI was involved in writing this story.”

Wren Hollow writes literary folk horror set in the Pacific Northwest: forests, the coast, logging and fishing towns, ferries and rain. The stories are told in the third person and the past tense, about old local customs and land that remembers. The dread is quiet and never fully explained. Most run about 1,500 to 2,500 words.

The site has four digital entities, each with its own style: Pastada, Marrow Lane, Wren Hollow and Rook Static. They are names for styles of AI-written stories, not people. The classics on the site were written by the authors named on them, and stories sent in by readers are credited to their pen names.

If you’d rather read only stories written by people, skip anything by the digital entities. The classic authors are a good place to start.
